We received the order to build up an Import-Logistic-Centre for an importer in Iraq. The result of intencise counseling interviews generated, that the market for economic goods cannot be investigated without any statistic data. Such data for Iraqi customers is not available at present.

To carry out a professional market analysis we agreed, to develop a conception to build up a Mail-Order-Business. Business activities would enable us to allocate data about the buying behavior of customers and detect the market to optimize the purchase of our investor.

We established two administrations for the Mail-Order-Business, one in each country. Installed the business activities and an accounting settlement system, optimized the transport and customs handling and attend the commercial launch. We where able to use our own approved conceptions as far as interior solutions where requested. We had to develop new structures for the logistic connection Germany - Iraq, an especial hurdle hereby was the lack of clear custom regulations.

All handling could be put into practice and the processing could be optimized so that the business is running now independent and without any assistance from Germany. The constant presence of FA & Logistik GmbH in the ad blocks of Iraqi television shows the success of the business at the Iraqi market.

Now available data from activities of the mail order business enabled our investor to purchase well directed and to maximize his profits as expected. The Mail-Order-Business will be continued due to its prosperity and profit.
